Basic Radio Production
Service Description
This course will teach students the fundamentals and operations of radio technology and broadcasting. In addition, the course will train and provide experiences in basic radio operations careers as well as develop professional etiquette skills. The ultimate goal is for students to be able to engineer, operate, host, and emcee their own radio show. This course is the first step to achieving those goals. Successful completion of this course is required to enroll in the Advanced Radio Production course. This course meets Monday and Wednesday. Instructor: Chelsea Speaks A graduate of CSB School of Broadcasting, Speaks served as an intern on the Frank & Wanda Morning Show at V-103 in Atlanta. This experience led her to a career in broadcasting and after years of working for other stations and communications outlets, she launched 101 TKO Radio. She has extensive experience in the entertainment industry as an artist, manager, branding consultant, voice-over artist, and radio personality and host. As the owner of TKO radio her ultimate goal is to provide others the opportunity to advance their passions on her platform.
